The MPK06 series provides 6W output power, 8mm clearance and creepage insulation distance, maximum 2uA leakage current and full protection functionality.
What types of full protection functionality does the MPK06 include? The series offers over-current protection (hiccup mode), short-circuit protection (automatic recovery), output over-voltage protection, and input under-voltage protection. The series also features two different pinout footprints for an easier PCB layout adaption.
The MPK06 series also offers 2xMOPP insulation for the highest safety standard. Also, design engineers won’t need to worry about external circuits since the MPK06 series has integrated EMI 55032 filter built in.
The integrated EMI filter complies with EN 55032 class A and IEC/EN 60601-1-2 limits which helps to save space on the PCB and time in the design-in phase. The converter’s maximum operating altitude is 5000m and if offers a wide operating temperature range from -40ºC to +105ºC (to 85ºC without derating) – making these medical grade DC/DC converters the ideal solution for highly reliable equipment in harsh and ruggedized environments.
