Pyramid Semiconductor’s 64Kb and 1Mb SRAM products keep long-lifecycle aerospace and defense programs operational — long after the rest of the market has walked away.
EOL Is a Program Risk. Pyramid Is the Answer.
In aerospace and defense, an End-of-Life notice on a memory component isn’t just an inconvenience — it can threaten a program with a 20-year service horizon. Redesigns burn schedule and budget. Re-qualification is costly. Last-time buys require forecasting years into the future.
Pyramid Semiconductor, a HEICO Company, has built its business around solving exactly this problem. While other manufacturers have exited the legacy SRAM market, Pyramid has stayed — actively manufacturing the devices that deployed systems depend on, backed by the institutional quality and resources of a leading aerospace company.
⚡ Bottom Line
Pyramid doesn’t do last-time buys. They do ongoing production — genuine, traceable, freshly manufactured parts for your program today and tomorrow.
64Kb & 1Mb SRAM — Built for the Long Haul
Pyramid’s SRAM portfolio focuses on two critical density points that remain foundational to a wide range of deployed aerospace and defense systems. These aren’t new product launches chasing the latest applications — they are sustained, deliberate solutions for platforms that exist today and will continue to operate for years to come.
P4C164 & P4C164L
Pyramid’s 64Kb SRAM devices remain a cornerstone component in a wide range of deployed avionics and defense electronics. Available in both High Speed and Low Power variants, these parts are qualified under three separate Standard Military Drawings: SMD 5962-38294, 5962-85525, and 5962-89691. If your program was designed to any of these specs, Pyramid has you covered — now and for the foreseeable future.
For higher density applications, Pyramid’s 1Mb SRAM line offers both standard power and low power configurations. The Low Power devices (P4C1024L / P4C1023L) extend support to the newer device types 50–70 in SMD 89598. A standout feature is Pyramid’s new drop-in compatible 32-pin Ceramic SOJ package, enabling seamless replacement into existing board designs without layout changes.

Pyramid’s SRAMs are not theoretical solutions. They are flying in platforms, operating in deployed systems, and supporting missions around the world. The list of applications reads like a who’s-who of high-reliability electronics:
The common thread across all of these applications is that they were designed decades ago and are expected to continue operating for decades more. The memory devices at their core don’t change — which is precisely why a manufacturer committed to long-term production is so valuable.
