Area51 Electronics was recently awarded the coveted 2022 Supply Chain Performance Achievement (SCPA) from The Boeing Company for demonstrating dedication to high-performance standards necessary to meet Boeing’s expectations and remain competitive in the global economy.

With lead times lengthening due to increasing demand for electronic components, it was critical to supply Boeing with components on time. Boeing – a leading global aerospace company – develops, manufactures, and services commercial airplanes, defense products, and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.

Area51 Electronics provided Boeing with critical components needed for their military and aerospace defense plans – with a 99.77% on-time delivery rate and a 100% quality rating.

The SCPA is an annual program recognizing superior performance as measured in Boeing’s Enterprise Supplier Performance Measurement (ESPM) system. This year, 241 suppliers achieved either a Blue or Green level Supply Chain Performance Achievement. Area51 Electronics is among the 241 suppliers to be awarded this recognition. Area51 Electronics maintained an exemplary composite performance rating for each month of the performance period from Jan 1, 2022, to Dec. 31, 2022.

By achieving SCPA status, Area51 Electronics is now eligible to be in the running for Boeing’s prestigious Supplier of the Year Award.
